Our Privacy Policy governs the privacy terms of our Platform and website, located at http://www.uflex.us, plus all sub-domains and any associated web-based and mobile applications (collectively, "Platform"), as owned and operated by Uflex, LLC ("Uflex"). Unless otherwise defined herein, terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Platform Terms and Conditions, located at www.uflex.us/platformterms, and in the applicable law.

Your Privacy

Uflex follows all legal requirements to protect your privacy. Our Privacy Policy is a legal statement that explains how we may collect information from you, how we may share your information, and how you can limit our sharing of your information.

By using the Platform, uflex.us, links to our Services, or any websites, mobile applications, products or services that link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, "Services"), you agree to this Privacy Policy and consent to our data collection practices. If you do not agree with our policies or consent to our practices, you are required to discontinue your use of our Services. Beyond this Privacy Policy, your use of our Services may also be subject to our Platform Terms and Conditions, our Client Terms of Service or our Student Terms of Service.

We utilize the Personal Data you offer in a way that is consistent with this Privacy Policy. If you provide Personal Data for a particular reason, we could make use of the Personal Data in connection with the reason for which it was provided. For example, registration info sent when developing your account might be used to suggest products to you based on past uses. We might use your Personal Data to offer access to services on the Platform and monitor your use of such services. Uflex may also utilize your Personal Data and various other personally non-identifiable info gathered through the Platform to assist us in improving the material and functionality of the Platform, to better comprehend our Users, and to improve our services.

Definitions

The terms "us" or "we" or "our" refer to Uflex, the owner of the Platform.

The terms "you" or "your" refer to the User of the Platform.

"Client" is a Member organization that creates business profiles and post jobs on the Platform.

"Non-Personal Information" is information that is not personally identifiable to you and that we automatically collect when you access our Platform with a web browser. It may also include publicly available information that is shared between you and others.

"Personal Data" is non-public information that identifies you individually and is obtained in order for us to allow you access within our Platform. Personally Identifiable Information may include information such as your name, email address, and other related information that you provide to us or that we obtain about you.

"Student" is a Member who seeks or applies for a job through the Platform.

"User" is a collective identifier that refers to either a Visitor or a Member.

Information You Supply

Generally, you control the amount and type of information you provide to us when using our Platform. The general public can browse our company website to find out more about our Company ("Visitor"). Visitors are not required to provide us with any Personally Identifiable Information.

Students

Uflex collects the information a Student uses to create their profile, which may include but is not limited to the following: (a) information needed to login, such as name, location, email, and phone number; (b) information to populate resumes, such as school name, graduation year, experience, skills and interests; (c) information to populate. Highlights about yourself, photos and images, and related captions and tags; and (d) information you provide to answer interview questions.

Clients

Uflex may collect information from a Client or its authorized users including but not limited to User's individual name, Client name, role within your company, industry, description of your company and its services, company logo and company website.

Payments

If you make a payment as a Client or receive a payment as a Student through our Platform for Services, your payment-related or other financial information is collected by our third-party payment processor on our behalf. We do not directly collect or store any payment card information entered through our Platform, but we may receive information associated with your payment (e.g. billing details).

Information Collected Automatically

When you use our Platform, we automatically collect certain computer information by the interaction of your mobile phone or web browser with our Platform. Such information is typically considered Non-Personal Information and may include:

  • IP address
  • Mobile or other hardware device identifiers
  • Browser information, including browser type and preferred language
  • Cookies to identify the areas of our Platform that you have visited
  • Platform type
  • Geographical information
  • Other log data, such as which portions of the content were viewed

How We Use Your Information

As described in this Privacy Policy, we use the information we collect to provide Services to our Members, to understand and analyze how our Platform is used, to identify trends, and to help detect, deter and prevent malicious, fraudulent or unlawful activity. The information we collect will only be disclosed in accordance with this Policy and any applicable law. Specific activities include but are not limited to the following:

Creating User Profiles

Information provided by a Student may be used to create a Student profile on our Platform, which will be accessible to Clients and other Students.

Providing Services to Students

Data provided by Students, including pdf resumes, may be collected and transposed into our customized templates. It may also be used to allow you to follow Client profiles, communicate and engage with Clients, and submit job applications to Clients.

Providing Services to Clients

Data regarding Client's use of the Platform may be processed to provide Students with reporting and analytics relating to your interaction with Student content and/or our Services, including but not limited to alerts when a profile or resume is viewed. It may also be used to allow you to view and follow Student profiles, communicate and engage with Students, create and post job applications, and review the status of your posts.

Customizing Our Platform

We may use the information you provide along with any computer information we receive in various ways to customize and improve our Platform and the Services we provide, as well as to tailor content to your preferences. This may include providing you with updates, sending automated notifications from Uflex, providing you with customer service and support, and marketing our Services to you.

Automated Decision-Making

We may use your Personal Data to use, train or improve automated processes, such as algorithms, including those that we utilize to monitor and sort Students on the Platform based on engagement.

Affiliates and Other Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or otherwise provide your Personal Data to third parties for marketing purposes. We may provide your Personal Data to affiliates that provide services to us with regards to our Platform (ie., payment processors, Platform hosting companies, etc.). Such affiliates will only receive information necessary to provide the respective services and will be bound by confidentiality agreements limiting the use of such information.

Legally Required Releases of Information

We may be legally required to disclose your Personally Identifiable Information, if such disclosure is (a) required by subpoena, law, or other legal process; (b) necessary to assist law enforcement officials or government enforcement agencies; (c) necessary to investigate violations of or otherwise enforce our Legal Terms; (d) necessary to protect us from legal action or claims from third parties including you and/or other Members; and/or (e) necessary to protect the legal rights, personal/real property, or personal safety of Uflex, our Users, employees, and affiliates.

Links to Other Websites

Our Platform may contain links to other websites that are not under our direct control. These websites may have their own policies regarding privacy. We have no control of or responsibility for linked websites and provide these links solely for the convenience and information of our visitors. You access such linked Websites at your own risk. These websites are not subject to this Privacy Policy. In addition, these websites may contain a link to Websites of our affiliates. The websites of our affiliates are not subject to this Privacy Policy, and you should check their individual privacy policies to see how the operators of such websites will utilize your personal information.

Disclosure in the Event of Merger, Sale or Other Asset Transfers

If Uflex is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, receivership, purchase or sale of assets, or other similar corporate financial transaction, your Personal Data may be disclosed, sold or transferred as part of such transaction.

Security

The security of your Personal Data is important to us but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. We utilize practical protection measures to safeguard against the loss, abuse and modification of the individual Data under our control. Personal Data is kept in a secured database and always sent out by means of an encrypted SSL method when supported by your web browser. No Web or e-mail transmission is ever totally protected or mistake-free. For example, email sent out to or from the Platform may not be protected. You must take unique care in deciding what info you send to us by means of e-mail.

Privacy Policy Updates

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. You should review this Privacy Policy frequently. If we make material changes to this policy, we may notify Users on our Platform, by a blog post, by email, or by any method we determine. The method we chose is at our sole discretion. We will also change the "Last Updated" date at the end of this Privacy Policy. Any changes we make to our Privacy Policy are effective as of this Last Updated date and replace any prior Privacy Policies.
